New photo of Flying Scotsman never seen before.
As you can see, she's painted in BR Transitional Apple Green with the number E103.
This is one of about three liveries that Flying Scotsman has never worn in preservation. It would be awesome to see her in this again though.
I'm stuck with three problems I've encountered... Writer's Block, other preferences, and Life getting in the way. I've been stuck with these for a few months now, but I tried shoving them down to no avail.
I won't be very active on Twitter as of the moment, but I'll update.
I don't like Gordon's canon rebuild due to one simple thing... he's now a "2-Cylinder" locomotive.
The rebuild makes him less suitable for express work, he's less stronger, and he still retains A1 parts that ceased production after the first A3's were introduced in 1927.
I don't care much about the Stanier Underparts, I just hate the logic of making him a 2-cylinder engine.
He has large driving wheels, which make him less suitable for expresses than the BR Standard 7 Pacifics.
Not to mention C.E. Restrictions make this rebuild unnecessary.

- This reminded me of the Advanced Steam Traction Trust, a non-profit group established to promote the on-going development of steam traction and prolong their lives on heritage lines and the mainline.
Do you think this trust would work closely with the Railways of Sodor and -
Trevor Davis, a fellow Thomas fan, passed away from terminal brain cancer earlier this month.
He seems to have been a joy to anybody he met, and will be missed dearly.
My condolences to his family & friends. Rest easy Trevor.

I haven't been on Thomas Twitter much as of recently due to a couple things happening in my life and other focuses.
So, to make up for my absence... I'm doing another AU/Headcanon Thread. As always, 1 Like = 1 Fact.
Without further ado, enjoy!
24. The NWR had two liveries for their streamlined service; "The Starstrider", nicknamed the "Shooting Star".
- NWR "Racing" Azure Blue
- NWR "Racing" Emerald Green
