Today was the start of Canon Sharples ‘Big Friday Book Club’. At 2.45pm every Friday, KS1 teachers will read a story and children can choose which story to listen to. Today most children chose to listen to “The Book With No Pictures”.#readingforpleasure #cspsreading @CanonYearOne

Today in science we looked at how we could improve our Bug hotel to attract more mini beasts. We liked how the grass was uncut and how it sat in the shade. We also spoke about the things animals need in their micro habitat. #cspsscience @LT_Trust @CanonSharples

Year 2 enjoyed their art lesson with @Minty_B. We practised our portrait skills by adding features to Tudor portraits. We also used our motor skills and observation to carefully trace our chosen Tudor portrait, ready to create a mixed media artwork. @Artsmarkaward @LT_Trust
