Think it’s fair the say the Nienbar decision has not worked out for Leinster. He promised defensive innovation, a winning hard edge to get it over the line but the team is weaker. 7 tries concede vs Northampton and 5 in 40 mins today. Time for him and Cullen to go. #LEIvUBB

When are European governments going to stand up and use all levers available to stop this. Israel should be isolated from western governments and treated like apartheid SA. As I child I always believed we wouldn’t let this happen- why aren’t the “good guys” standing up?

I don’t get it. If Hezbollah had flats in this block (unlikely in central Beirut but not impossible) why did the Israelis give everyone inside an hour to get out — including those they wanted to kill? And if there weren’t any Hezbollah people there, why destroy a building with dozens of civilians in it?

An Israeli airstrike struck an apartment building in central Beirut, on Wednesday. The Israeli army had warned residents to evacuate about an hour before completely flattening it as day broke.

The €3m is great and well well overdue.
It’s still a drop in the ocean, GPA got an extra €1.5m today (they now get €7.2m from gov coffers) while the horse racing gets €80 million and greyhound racing gets €20 million.
