Cape Elementary’s 5th graders had an amazing opportunity to learn from Jason Dunning of Gulf Coast News! He shared his meteorology expertise, helping our students explore weather patterns, pressure systems, and the science behind forecasting. His passion was impactful.

Shout out to Orange River Elementary’s Chorus. They did an excellent job performing at the Board Meeting tonight. It was such a fun performance.

BLAST OFF! Grades 3-5 got to go on a trip to the Starlab with Mrs. Bryant for science! Students got to explore what causes day and night, take a closer look at the different moon phases, and some even explored the inner and outer planets! Great experience for the kids.

Mrs. Sund served as Joseph's personal taxi today, having won the PTO Auction item for Principal Taxi service. They even jammed out to some festive music during their travels.

Mrs. Annarumma’s class learned about voting today. Students were able to try two favors of popcorn and then vote on their favorite flavor. Cheddar popcorn for the win!

Kindergarten had fun learning about life cycles today with the Lee County Mosquito Education program. The presenters were very engaging, full of energy and informative. The students loved it! @LCMosquitoEd

Today Miss Long’s class worked on inferencing and became inference detectives. We examined a newspaper article and the suspects artifacts, to crack the case!

Ms. Neal and Ms. Jones’ Intervention Group finished their Novel Study of Frindle and celebrated by all getting their own Frindle!

Duct taping the principals. For every 3 items a student sold in our fundraiser, they got 1 piece of duct tape to tape Ms. Osterholm, principal or Mrs. Sund, assistant principal to the wall. The kids’ reactions were priceless!!
