Using your product too much might lead to you being to invested. I have reduced the usage a bit, and when I use it after a while, I can see its kinda complex, and features should be removed, not added.

> Im building a tool for freelancers where you sync tasks from other tools, and you have a handy daily notes, tasks for today, and a planner for your own liking. > Test users come on, and are clicking around in projects and clients > I try reaching out to them via email about what were they expecting, since I can see the app does not solve their problem. >No response. What now?

I was avoiding (don't know why) adding a paywall to my app. Just hit me today. The users could actually think that the project is cool, but will check on it once its more mature, and they know that my app will stick around. Adding a paywall might actually signal maturity and trust

I have users testing out the app, but I can't reach them via email for feedback later. Tried from business and my personal email. Any tips?

Talking with AI about how to get the first 10 users: `The reframe: 10 users is recruiting, not marketing Posting on X and Reddit is broadcasting. Broadcasting works at 1,000 users, not at 0. At 0, nobody knows you, so a post into the void converts ~nobody. That's exactly what you're seeing.`

Real talk: does the timeline feel ridiculously saturated to anyone else? Or am I just bad at standing out? Building koaline.app in public has me questioning everything. Drop your best “how do you cut through the noise” tip if you’ve cracked it.

koaline.app/ - work OS for freelance devs and anyone who wants a calmer way to manage their days A calm workspace for planning your days, executing tasks, and reflecting on your progress. Whether your days are strictly planned or find their own shape naturally. Koaline integrates tasks, time-blocking, and daily notes into one cohesive workflow with a dedicated work mode and daily reviews to keep u on track. Use it as your own personal alternative to Linear, ClickUp or Todoist. Or if u work with clients, two way sync means it plugs straight into the tools they already use so everything stays consistent across your whole ecosystem. Still pretty early but would love feedback from anyone juggling a few clients at once!

For the 7th time I’m really close to transitioning from 90% shipping 10% marketing to 10% shipping 90% marketing

By using Posthog session replay, I was able to see what the first beta users tried out, and what they didn't. I realised I need to improve my product message, because I seem to be promoting my secondary features, into which I didnt't invest a lot of energy, and can frankly be found in any app
