I just got word that my horror movie“My Severed Arm” just WON for Best of Fest - Short Film at PANIC FEST!!!!
I don’t tend to make things that win things but I’m pretty floored 😱
Thank you Panic and this is just the first in my festival run!

Gwen and Brian run a great festival and damn, the horror community CAME OUT for this. Just about every screening was packed and they went nuts for Severed Arm, especially a mid point gag I’m incredibly proud of.

“My Severed Arm” was accepted into the Comic Con Int’l Film Festival as part of the SDCC! The festival itself is in a venue right next to the center during its weekend of festivities and I’m excited as can be 😎

The Backroom movie comes out soon and will make a ton of money. It’s also one of the 1st times where I feel disconnected from culture since I don’t have a fear of liminal spaces but many people do? Its never crossed my mind.

I was notified last week that Portland Horror Film Festival has accepted my film and I’ll be in attendance! Portland is one of my favorite cities 🙂
The movie will play Sunday June 7th at 5:40 in a block of shorts at the Clinton St Theatre

When I saw The Bride, I really didn’t like the “Mary Shelley wants to tell a story from beyond the grave” possession aspect and think it’s the worst part of the movie.
Seeing Obsession do possession so much better made me dislike The Bride so much more 😂

“My Severed Arm” won BEST DIRECTOR - SHORT at Crimson Screen Horror Film Festival!!!! To say I’m over the moon is understating it and will carry me through the long travel day ahead.
And it’s true: My Severed Arm has been upgraded to My Severed Hand.
