As we do every September, all leagues are currently being updated. Expect full rosters to be completed by the end of the month. Roster Update Timeline: To all users and clients who have inquired about updates over the past month: we do not track live rosters during transfer window periods, focusing instead only on major name transfers. As a yearly reminder, please do not consider rosters fully updated until September 20th and February 20th respectively. This timing allows us to gather salary data from our network of partner clubs and player agencies, in addition to media publications. Our network of contributing clubs and agencies continues to grow rapidly. Enhanced Bonus Tracking: Gross bonuses, which were previously tracked inconsistently across our database on an individual basis, have now been systematically added for every player. Historical data for past years will be incorporated in future updates. Expanded Financial Coverage: Our Financial Statements coverage will expand from 28 to 44 leagues over the coming months, with continued growth planned. This expansion strengthens the foundation for our player estimations. As a reminder, we track base salaries and now, performance-related incentive bonuses for first-team rosters only. We do not include other player-related costs such as image rights, signing bonuses, exit fees, agent fees, and pension costs, which represent a significant percentage of personnel expenses and could skew total figures. New FFP Platform: We've launched our FFP Ratios platform for investment funds and industry professionals, featuring detailed fields extracted from financial notes and processed into advanced financial ratios. Currently available for the Big 5 leagues, with expansion to additional leagues planned. Stay tuned for future announcements!

🔴 Three offers for Torino, but valuation gap blocks deal: Cairo wants over €200 million Three formal offers have reached Bank of America for Torino, but talks remain stalled due to a valuation gap between the club and potential buyers. The interested parties are U.S. investment funds and sports-focused holding companies looking to enter Italian football through Torino. According to Tuttosport, all three proposals come from structured American investors, not individual magnates. Bank of America, the financial advisor managing the sale process, has collected these initial expressions of interest as part of a preliminary market scan. The main obstacle remains the club’s valuation. While buyers estimate Torino’s market value just under €200 million, president Urbano Cairo values the club significantly above that figure. This difference is the first major barrier to opening deeper negotiations. It is still unclear whether any of the offers will turn into a structured proposal or if Cairo will engage directly with one of the interested parties. The situation also remains tied to the ongoing stadium project, which recently gave Torino the chance to lead a public-private partnership after earlier plans were dropped. ⚪ Real Madrid renew Adidas deal through 2033–34, following Emirates extension Real Madrid have signed an eight-year extension with Adidas, confirming the German sportswear brand as the club’s kit supplier through the 2033–34 season. The renewed deal cements one of the most important sponsorships in football history, with the previous agreement worth over €1 billion since 2019. President Florentino Pérez called it “the most important agreement in the history of football,” praising the strategic alliance that has helped Real Madrid enjoy one of the most successful periods in their history over the past three decades. The Adidas renewal comes just after Real Madrid extended their partnership with Emirates, their main shirt sponsor, in a deal worth around €100 million per year through 2030–31. The club also counts HP, EA Sports, Adobe, BMW, and Louis Vuitton among its top sponsors. Despite the commercial strength, Real Madrid finished as distant runners-up to Barcelona in La Liga in 2025–26, marking a second consecutive season without trophies. 🔵 Everton ordered to pay Burnley nearly £40m in historic relegation case Everton have been ordered to pay Burnley nearly £40 million in compensation after a Premier League independent disciplinary commission ruled that Everton breached financial rules and gained a sporting advantage during the 2021–22 season. The decision is the largest financial penalty ever imposed on a Premier League club. Burnley were relegated to the Championship that season, finishing four points below Everton. They argued that if Everton had been deducted six points in 2021–22 instead of 2023, they would have stayed in the Premier League while Everton would have been relegated. Everton, under owner Farhad Moshiri at the time of the breach, have appealed the ruling and say they are “surprised and angered” by a decision they believe is “fundamentally flawed.” The new Friedkin Group, which took over the club in 2024, insists the ruling will not affect their summer transfer plans. The case could open the door for more club-versus-club legal disputes in English football, with several clubs reportedly seeking legal advice on what could happen if Manchester City is found guilty in their ongoing financial breach case. Burnley’s chair Alan Pace said the decision confirms “a rule was broken and a competitive advantage was improperly gained,” and reiterated their goal was “making football fair.” Source: The Guardian #Everton #Burnley #PremierLeague #FootballFinance

🟡🔴 Roma stadium project nears final approval, construction set to start in one year The construction of AS Roma’s new stadium at Pietralata is entering a decisive phase, with Rome mayor Roberto Gualtieri confirming that construction work should begin within one year. The project is moving forward after key bureaucratic steps have been completed, with the final administrative document expected around mid-August. Gualtieri said: “The Roma stadium enters a decisive phase. The convention between all involved entities has been approved, allowing management of the entire process from authorization to construction.” He also confirmed that the commissioner has signed the ordinance to launch the decisive service conference, starting the single authorization procedure (PAUC) needed to meet UEFA’s deadlines for EURO 2032. The timeline is tight: the final administrative document must be ready by mid-August, with UEFA expected to approve Italy’s five stadium hosts for EURO 2032 by mid-October. The PAUC combines the service conference and environmental impact assessment, both to be completed within 60 days. Once finalized, the project becomes a public utility, allowing land expropriation and starting the bidding process for construction. ⚪ Real Madrid set record sponsorship renewal with Emirates Real Madrid have renewed their partnership with Emirates in a deal worth €100 million per season, extending the airline’s presence on the club’s shirts until 2031. The agreement is the most lucrative main shirt sponsorship ever signed by a football club and pushes Real ahead of Manchester City in sponsor revenue. The new contract also expands Emirates’ visibility across the women’s team, youth teams, basketball side, training center, and Santiago Bernabéu, where an Emirates Lounge will be created. The deal underlines the huge commercial power of the Madrid club, which continues to set the benchmark in global football business. Compared with Europe’s other giants, Real’s new agreement stands far above the rest, with City, PSG, and Manchester United next in the sponsor-revenue ranking. In Serie A, Real’s €100 million annual figure is roughly equal to the combined value of the biggest shirt-sponsorship deals at Milan, Inter, and Juventus. ⚫🟦 Ausilio gives full interview on Dumfries, Icardi, Ibrahimovic, and Lukaku peace deal Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio delivered an extensive and revealing interview on Alessandro Cattelan’s podcast “Supernova,” offering fans a deep look into the club’s transfer strategy, player relationships, and internal dynamics. On Denzel Dumfries, Ausilio confirmed the decision was unavoidable due to the Dutch defender triggering his release clause. He said: “The upcoming transfer window will be like the last ones — handled with attention. People shouldn’t be misled; you can’t buy everything you want. Dumfries will leave after exercising his clause.” But he reassured fans about the club’s plan to replace departing players: “I can reassure all the fans: for every important player who leaves, another equally important one will arrive. We want to build a competitive team, without hiding anything: if you think about fighting to win, you will be competitive. And that’s what Inter will do, and we can guarantee that.” When asked about Hakan Çalhanoğlu and the claims made by Fenerbahçe’s presidential candidate Hakan Safi about a completed deal, Ausilio remained firm: “There’s a problem: Çalhanoğlu has a contract, Inter wants to keep him, and I don’t think those statements can have any meaning or continuation.” He added humorously, “I hope he still has something left, since they’ve bought all the players in the world, sporting directors and coaches.” On the defensive front, Ausilio confirmed the club would strengthen due to the expiring contracts of Matteo Darmian and Roberto Acerbi. “In defense, we will do something, simply for a purely numerical reason since Darmian and Acerbi are leaving. Solet is one of the players we’re following, like him there are others, but we will definitely present ourselves with a good defender by the start of training.” Ausilio also confirmed active interest in Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, recalling previous attempts to sign him. “We tried to make the deal in January. We will try again with this player; if we meet on what we consider the right valuation, great, otherwise we’ll do something else.” The interview also touched on Mauro Icardi and Zlatan Ibrahimović, with Ausilio reflecting on their time at Inter and the lasting impact they made on the squad. He spoke about the reconciliation process with Romelu Lukaku, describing how the club managed to resolve past tensions and restore a positive relationship with the Belgian striker. Closing with comments on the Champions League, Ausilio emphasized the club’s ambitions, echoing president Giuseppe Marotta’s words: “The president wants to do the maximum in the Champions League, like all of us. Competing in Italy is definitely less difficult than in the Champions League, but when we start the season, we never decide what we want to win. We want to try to do well in everything.” The interview provided an unprecedented look into Inter’s market strategy, internal relationships, and the club’s vision for the upcoming season. 🌍 FIFA’s record World Cup revenues draw fresh criticism FIFA is facing renewed scrutiny as the 2026 World Cup is set to become the most lucrative tournament in its history, with critics questioning how the money is raised and redistributed. The cycle ending with this summer’s event is expected to generate about $13 billion, while FIFPRO says FIFA is using its regulatory power to advance commercial interests. A major flashpoint is ticketing. FIFA’s official resale marketplace charges 15% on both the buyer and seller sides, and the organization has also embraced dynamic pricing, which has pushed costs far beyond what many fans expected. Supporter groups argue the system turns the World Cup into a premium product rather than a global festival. FIFA says the income is reinvested into football worldwide through development programs, federation grants, and prize money. Still, critics say the distribution model is opaque and benefits smaller federations equally, regardless of size, while host cities and governments shoulder many of the event’s extra costs. 👑 Florentino Pérez re-elected as Real Madrid president: Mourinho named new coach Florentino Pérez has been re-elected president of Real Madrid with 65% of valid votes, defeating challenger Enrique Riquelme who received nearly 12,000 votes compared to Pérez’s 21,000. Pérez will now lead the club until 2030. With the leadership confirmed, Real Madrid is turning its focus to the 2026/27 season after two trophyless years and a technical revolution that has struggled to take off. To return the club to the top of La Liga and Europe, Pérez has chosen José Mourinho as the new head coach, marking the second chapter of the “Special One’s” era at the Santiago Bernabéu. Mourinho’s appointment comes with major transfer moves already finalized: Ibrahima Konaté has joined on a free from Liverpool, and Denzel Dumfries has arrived after Real triggered his €20 million release clause with Inter. The club is also preparing a €150 million offer for a top player from midfield upwards, reportedly Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise. To bring Mourinho in, Real Madrid must officially pay the €15 million release clause to Benfica to free him from his contract. The increased amount reflects the delay caused by the election process, with the original clause being €7 million. Source: Calcio & Finanza #RealMadrid #Mourinho #FlorentinoPerez #LaLiga
