Our @BaylorSOE TAs are rocking and rolling with fractions. We’ve used some creative moving of our flexible furniture to make small group spacing work, but we are making it happen!

Career Day at Spring Valley was the best! Between the adult speakers, these fourth graders got up and spoke about a career that they would like to have someday.

We had lots of laughs interpreting remainders and pretending we were on an 80s field trip. They couldn’t believe we rode in parents’ cars to get to our destination for the field trip. If you have 43 kids, and each volunteer can fit 6 kids in their van, how many vans are needed?

Today we played Soil Guess Who to continue our unit on properties of soil, but these kids weren’t guessing at all. They used background knowledge and made great inferences!

We always love our fourth grade field trip to the Midway ISD high school pep rally, but my class really LOVED it this year. They danced, cheered, and laughed with such joy!
