i learnt a new word today - 𝑲𝒆𝒄𝒄𝒂𝒌 i was reading through one of Cysic's hardware technical breakthrough docs and this part caught my eye "𝑪𝒚𝒔𝒊𝒄 𝑪1 𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒆 1.31𝑴 𝑲𝒆𝒄𝒄𝒂𝒌 𝒇𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝒔𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒅" so i paused and asked myself wtf is Keccak? i asked..you know who and got this in simple terms: it's a way to take any input (like a message or data) and turn it into a fixed-length output (a hash) that acts like a digital fingerprint and as we already know how ZK works this means ZK proofs rely heavily on hash functions like Keccak to verify data without revealing it so when @cysic_xyz says their C1 chip can do 1.31M Keccak proofs per second it means their chip is insanely fast at doing one of the most essential operations in zero-knowledge circuits and if they’ve already cracked this kind of throughput on Keccak imagine what the rest of the Cysic team is cooking
