โ๏ธCOURT UPDATEโ๏ธCardi B has filed additional fee materials in Tasha K's Chapter 11 Subchapter V bankruptcy case in the Southern District of Florida.
In a June 12, 2026 filing, Almรกnzarโs counsel submitted invoices from Moore Pequignot, LLC to accompany an affidavit from attorney Lisa F. Moore in support of attorneysโ fees and costs. The filing says the invoices were submitted in connection with the fee request tied to the courtโs prior sanctions and enforcement order.
The attached billing records show work performed on the โLatasha Transina matterโ for Almรกnzar, with entries by Lisa Moore and Andrew Pequignot. Many of the specific billing descriptions are redacted, but the invoice summary lists a total of 105 hours and 36 minutes.
A separate filing, also dated June 12, 2026, asks the bankruptcy court to extend the deadline for Kebe to respond or object to the attorneysโ fees and costs request. Almรกnzarโs side says the extension is appropriate because the Moore Pequignot invoices were delayed due to a technical issue with billing software and were not filed until June 12.
The motion explains that the courtโs May 13, 2026 order required Almรกnzarโs counsel to file a fee affidavit and supporting time records, and gave Kebe 14 days after service to object. Almรกnzarโs counsel says the fee affidavit was filed on June 3, but the Moore Pequignot time records could not be printed at that time despite multiple attempts.
Because the supporting invoices were filed later, Almรกnzarโs side says Kebe should receive additional time to review the complete fee submission. The agreed motion asks the court to move the objection deadline from June 17, 2026, to June 26, 2026.
The filing states that Kebeโs counsel reviewed the motion and consented to the requested extension. Almรกnzarโs side also argues the extension will not prejudice any party and will allow the fee process to proceed in an orderly way.
A proposed order attached to the filing would grant the motion and extend Kebeโs deadline to respond or object to the fee affidavits and supporting materials through June 26, 2026. The court has not yet ruled on the proposed order based on the uploaded filing.
The filings are part of the continuing bankruptcy litigation following the courtโs prior order granting in part and denying in part Almรกnzarโs motion to enforce the confirmed plan and confirmation order, impose sanctions including attorneysโ fees and costs, and impose Rule 9011 sanctions against Kebeโs counsel.
