Trinity Valley Community College has officially nominated former Cardinal, Nick Van Exel for the NJCAA Hall of Fame. Nick led the University of Cincinnati to the NCAA Final Four and played 13 years in the NBA. @vanexel31

Jesse Hightower, the first-ever recruit signed by NJCAA HOF Coach Leon Spencer was on campus this week. Spencer signed him in 1964-65, making him the first black men's basketball player at TVCC, as well as in the Texas Eastern Conference. Spencer retired in 2006 with 809 wins.
