This week, we’re honoring my father’s 72nd birthday by keeping his legacy going through his passion for journalism.
In his memory, our family has started the Larry Fitzgerald Scholarship Fund with the National Association of Black Journalists to support the next generation of journalists.

275 native species trees & cacti being preserved & replanted when construction completed.
Includes this 300-year-old Ironwood tree (50 years older than the United States)

Rest in peace, Rob Schumacher.
There wasn't a big event in AZ (or beyond) that Rob didn't photograph with the highest level of professionalism & excellence.
The images he created will endure but AZ photo journalism will never be the same.

Praying for family of local media legend who left us today. Rob Schumacher took so many photos at big events. And when he had one he knew I would like he would send to me with note saying “thought you would like this one” I liked them all. RIP helluva photographer and good man
