The skills employers are paying for in Q2 2026 and how to show them on your CV
The skills that made you hireable two years ago aren't the same ones that make you hireable now.
Here's what's in demand going into the second half of 2026:
1. AI fluency: Not building AI, but knowing how to use it. Prompt engineering, AI-assisted analysis, using tools like Copilot, ChatGPT, and automation platforms in your workflow.
2. Data literacy: Being able to read data, draw insights, and communicate findings even if you're not a data analyst. Every role is becoming more data-adjacent.
3. Project management: Formal or informal. Companies want people who can own something end-to-end and deliver.
4. Cross-functional communication: The ability to work with people outside your team, explain things to non-experts, and navigate ambiguity.
5. Adaptability on paper: Companies want to see evidence that you've changed, learned, and evolved. A static CV signals a static professional.
The good news is that you can build and demonstrate most of these without going back to school.
We'll help you show these skills the right way on your CV. Send a DMnand let's update yours for the roles you're targeting.
