"Chickens for KFC"... Think about that phrase for a second... It's a saying used to often describe liberal Westerners who vote for policies that are against their own interests and inevitably result in harming them. But what does it also mean? It means that the non-vegans who use it are well aware that animal agriculture goes against the interests of animals—a direct contradiction to their often parroted mantra that farming animals "benefits" those animals and gives them "net positive lives". Any chicken who did indeed vote to be farmed, even on the most "idyllic" of farms, would indeed be quite the "chicken for KFC".

There's more concern on my newsfeed for the poor knifeman getting kicked than there is for the 2 innocent people who got stabbed by him. UK is cooked if this is how our populace thinks.

One of the biggest inconsistencies I've seen in many vegans on the far-left is the idea that it is NOT possible to be racist towards white people and it is NOT possible to be sexist towards men, but it IS POSSIBLE be speciesist towards humans, e.g. via misanthropy or not caring as much about human issues. The far-left oppression philosophical framework is based on "power dynamics" where those of supposedly "powerful" groups (in their eyes, whites and men) cannot face "isms" whereas all other groups can. Their hypocrisy, then, when it comes to calling misanthropic vegans "speciesist" is ASTOUNDING: The power that HUMANS have over animals is a TRILLION times greater than any power white people have over other races, or men have over women. If a white person "cannot experience racism" then there is absolutely 0% chance a member of the most powerful, oppressive, dominant and entitled species to ever walk the planet can experience "speciesism".
