Carson Loftin just announced on his socials that he will be back with Shady Grady Racing for a part time schedule in the SMART Modified Tour along with some other select events. Loftin will be racing full time in the CARS Tour for Nelson Motorsports in his sophomore year with them as previously covered last month.

Thankful to have gotten the call to drive the Hartwig Racing #73 at @newsmyrnaspdwy on February 7th for the #NWMT opener. I’ll be filling in for Paulie Hartwig III as the team runs for owner points, with Paulie turning 15 just a week after the race. Let’s go! 💪

Never fun changing motors at a racetrack 😅
Qualified 2nd but had to start last after finding a motor problem in Saturday practice, passed a ton of cars all night, drove up to 6th before contact with another car knocked the wheel out of my hand and we both went in the fence.
