So pleased that my project 'Twin (Im)Mobilities: On the Move with Multiples and Multiples on the Move' has been awarded QR funding from @apss_research. Recognising that parents of multiples are likely to have poor mental health, and realising the value in accessing public spaces

A really shocking statistic 😯. My return to work and managing my Crohn’s hasn’t been easy, but I’m so fortunate to have a supportive and flexible employer, meaning I can continue to work 🙏.
Two-thirds of people with Crohn's or Colitis believe that having IBD has negatively impacted their careers. 46% have left a job because of their IBD..

📣 Hot off the press - the 1st study of my dissertation! We found that parent mental health is significantly associated with the presence and severity of chronic pain in children, and thus needs to be addressed in prevention and treatment efforts

The lack of consensus about definition of breakthrough pain (BTP) & lack of a paediatric BTP assessment tool underpins all our programmatic work. This paper provides insights into HPs perceptions & offers direction forward. @WeCYPnurses @jennie_craske @BPSPainEthics @EHU_FHSCM
HCP insights emphasize the need for a standardised tool to assess breakthrough pain in paediatric palliative care, to enhance patients’ pain related diagnosis, management, and quality of life mdpi.com/2756408 #mdpichildren via @MDPIOpenAccess
