The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you! Season 27 POWER RANKINGS #40 Iron Flag (2-16) ⬇️ Prev. rank - 38 They didn't have the worst record in the league, but after starting the season 2-0 they didn't even try to be competitive - losing all of their 16 remaining games. The performance cost HC Angelbuckz his job, & the team's fate's are now in the hands of newly hired HC @cchoops246, who is hoping for a little luck on the Lottery Wheel to spin his way. #39 Apollo Kids (1-17) ↔️ Prev. rank - 39 Apollo Kids' spot on the Power Rankings remain right where we left them last, having not won a game since then. As a team, they finished 38th in scoring (54.6ppg) & 39th in assists (13.1 per), but thanks to veteran C Praise Creep shattering the single season rebound record (264), they finished 5th in rebounds per game (19.4). The lone bright spot on the team, Creep is locked in as a 4th round keeper in a draft where they have the best odds to win the 1st overall pick in a talent stacked season 28 draft class. #38 8 Diagrams (2-16) ⬆️ Prev. rank - 40 After starting off 0-8, HC Cas Dolo dropped 1st round pick, veteran, & former SIBA MVP @kjspIash into the waiver wire as Cas took control of the offense. It almost looked like they turned over a new leaf, winning 2 out of their next 3, but then finished the season on a 7 game losing streak. Cas showed flashes of old, finishing with a career high 18.4ppg, but the team finished 2nd to last in scoring (53.9). Heading into the season 28 draft, almost certain to obtain a top 5 pick, the question will be if whether or not Cas feels confident enough to be the team's full time pg, using a top 5 pick elsewhere. #37 Killa Bees (2-16) ⬇️ Prev. rank - 35 SIBA's flagship franchise went from 15 wins in season 27 to just 2 under new HC @cbuzzx's leadership, the worst single season drop-off in league history. The decision to keep deadbeat I-Zayy with a 1st round pick instead of investing that pick in a pg worked out exactly how everyone predicted it would - as a disaster. Balenciaga tay's days as a starting pg in SIBA seem to be over (after leaving the discord due to lack of skill), but the bright side is this team should have a top 5 pick, with veterans @_Strapz_ & @DexterConcepts locked in as late round keepers. #36 Johnny Blaze (3-15) ↔️ Prev. rank - 36 Still in the same spot as where we left them before, Johnny Blaze ended the 2nd half of the season 1-7. With middle of the pack league averages in ppg (60.7, 26th), rebounds (17.6, 16th) & assists (17.1, 22nd), it's hard to understand just how the team was this bad - until you take a peek at their brutal schedule. This season, they had Ironman 2x (11-7), Knuckleheads 2x (11-7), Killa Hills 2x (11-7), Pro Tools 2x (13-5), Ferryboat Killaz (13-5), Shadowboxers (14-4), Glaciers of Ice (16-2), & Bring Da Ruckus (17-1). In fact, Johnny Blaze only had 4 opponents with a losing record all season, & not one of them are below them on the power rankings. For a team not bursting at the seams with talent, a schedule like that can explain why they'll be looking forward to the Lottery Wheel next week. #35 Bring The Pain (5-13)⬇️ Prev. rank - 33 BTP were 3-5 the last time we ranked the teams, & went 2-8 in their last 10 to finish out, ending HC JAerial's magical playoff streak at 4. They finished 18th in scoring (63.6), but that was a whole 12 points less than the team averaged last season. The backcourt of @guardjdog & @MrCloydMan just didnt work, as neither player are top tier, but JAerial went with cool vibes instead of the egoes that plagued his team in recent seasons. The result - his first crack at the wheel spin. #34 Sunz Of Man (5-13) ↔️ Prev. rank - 34 No change for SOM since the first rankings, & at that time they were actually 3-4 with plenty of basketball left to play. They managed only 2 wins in their final 9 games, but moving vSkyzah at the deadline netted them a 2nd round lottery pick from Older Gods & a late 4th round pick from Guns N Razors. If @dayfri returns, he'll be locked into that 1st round keeper slot with some draft options to play with. If not, it frees up what should be an early round pick to draft a difference maker. #33 Criminology (6-12) ⬇️ Prev. rank - 18 Representing one of the largest drop offs on the Power Rankings, Criminology dropped 15 spots - & 7 of their last 8 games - thanks to 3 bums (PrimeJJ, @Sk8Hardyy, & xGotAmmo) choosing to get blown out in BYOT leagues & donating to other team's championship winnings than continue the momentum of a team that finally started hitting it's stride after a disastrous 0-4 start. HC SlimJordy did what he could to hold the team together, but you cant fix stupid. 20 subs to The SIBA Network is the price for re-entry for the 3 Stooges, & they'll eventually play - because they suck too much to play anywhere else. #32 Liquid Swords (6-12) ⬆️ Prev. rank - 37 Liquid Swords never had a chance in the playoff race for season 27, & it looks like the league - and 2K - has passed HC @Blaclabelz0 by. But, they finished the season 5-5, which isn't all that impressive, but it is for a team that's gone 44-64 since Season 22. #31 Protect Ya Neck (5-13) ⬆️ Prev. rank - 32 HC Ankless deserves heaps of praise for finishing all 18 games before anyone else after the adversity his team faced just 2 hours before Opening Night, & after watching his newly acquired team lose its entire starting lineup to bans, they refused to go down easy. At one point late in their schedule, they had a 4-1 stretch that saw them sweep Iron Flag, defeat 11th playoff seeded Assassination Day & snipe 1 of 2 from the 10-8 Ol' Dirty Bastards. They were dead last in scoring (51.4) but had one of the league's stingiest defenses, giving up only 60.3 points per game, 2.1 points lower than the league's scoring average. #30 Brooklyn Zoo (6-12) ⬇️ Prev. rank - 29 Starting pg @uppion might have been the lone bright spot for a disappointing season for a Brooklyn Zoo squad coming off back to back 12 win Woodrow Division championship seasons. Starting lock @Kvng_Steez only averaged 1.6 steals per & couldnt get a stop, which can be reflected in their avg points against total of 70.16 per game. HC Chef JT's focus should be on DEFENSE this upcoming draft. #29 Older Gods (7-11) ⬇️ Prev. rank - 28 This team was 4-5 & in good position to fight for a Wild Card spot, but ended the season 3-6 in a mess of a 2nd half that saw them give away a 2nd round pick for @JKeith33. HC Zach's mismanagement at the trade deadline wasn't the only blunder - he waived 1st round pick rookie standout pg @DevingodYT as he failed to get along with the player despite coaching him in college the previous season. He's on a make or break season 28 that needs to result in a playoff appearance, otherwise it might be time for a return trip to the college coaching level. #28 Black Diamonds (7-11) ⬇️ Prev. rank - 13 Last update, Black Diamonds debuted at 13 off the strength of a 6-1 stretch. They were 6-5 at that time, & now find themselves 15 spots back due to a complete reversal of fortune and a 1-6 conclusion to the season. They had an opportunity on the last day of the regular season to clinch a Wild Card spot, but got swept by division foe Legendary Weapons. HC oMIDNIGHT hasn't made a final decision on whether or not he's keeping his starting backcourt of @pablotrez1 & Mulauto, but the smart thing might be to send them back in the draft. He's not gonna win with that backcourt. #27 Assassination Day (7-11) ⬇️ Prev. rank - 8 A lot has to happen to a team for them to drop 19 spots in the Power Rankings, & last we checked, this team was 6-3 & rollin'. Since then they won just once in the 2nd half of the season & lost their last 8 games. They tripped & fell into the 11th playoff spot & have a 1st round appointment with @xkingsWorld, @DTrick__, & the 13-5 36 Chambers. #26 Cuban Linx (8-10) ⬇️ Prev. rank - 25 They were 5-6 the 1st power rankings & it didnt take long after that for the @xxRagedxx crying to start. He didnt have much to work with, but constant bickering with rookie HC Dub Wallace didnt help matters. They finished 8-10 - 1 game out of the last playoff spot - & controlled their own destiny going into the final week. A season sweep vs rival Supreme Clientele could have punched their ticket, but they lost the 2nd game, & then lost to Guns N Razors in their season finale to seal their fate as a late lottery team. #25 Golden Arms (7-11) ⬇️ Prev. rank - 14 Last we checked up on this team, they were 4-3, ranked 14th in the Power Rankings, & staying alive in the playoff chase with @FirstHalfJayy dealing with the effects of Hurricane Milton. Since then, their backup pg @zzaytoven was banned for being a deadbeat, FirstHalfJay was benched for inefficiency again (like last season), & ended the 2nd half of the season 3-8. Chuba has been carrying this team on his back virtually by himself, & had a clutch 21 rebound/20 assist performance in a playoff clinching beat down of the Killa Bees on the last night of the regular season. With HC @ItsVxnom_ in the backcourt & Chuba on the floor, if FirstHalfJay can return to the starting lineup & perform to his potential, they can be a legitimate 1st round upset threat vs TearItOffEm, @MeterDunkk, & the 5th seed Rushing Elephants. #24 Method Men (8-10) ⬇️ Prev. rank - 10 @DGTooCold squandered a 7-3 start by flopping down the stretch, going 1-7 in the 2nd half of the season & watching the playoffs from home for the first time in 3 seasons. Dagallis averaged career bests 17.7ppg & 12 assists per game, but the team only averaged 5.7 steals & 0.8 blocks per, & the team's defensive woes were not enough for the 21st ranked offense to overcome. #23 Bells Of War (8-10) ⬇️ Prev. rank - 20 Self-proclaimed "best player in Pro Am" @JoshuaHunter__ will miss the playoffs in SIBA for the 1st time in his career. The constant head butting with backcourt mate @NovaAssazzin couldn't be rectified for the sake of the team, & this underachieving, talented squad finished just a game back of Wu Chronicles for the 12th & final Wild Card seed. HC Blvcc did his job - he drafted the best players available to him when it was his team's turn to pick. He just didnt take into account the sour history between Unguardable & Nova. An unfortunate end to a season full of promise after draft day. #22 Supreme Clientele (9-9) ⬇️ Prev. rank - 17 One of the better defensive teams in the league this season, Supreme Clientele finished 3rd in blocks per (1.6) & 5th in steals (8.2), & a very respectable 60.6 points against average. They've been an inconsistent, up & down team all season & they're gonna need to find a rhythm quickly if they have any hope of getting passed #6 Knuckleheadz in this week's Wild Card series. #21 Wu Chronicles (9-9) ⬆️ Prev. rank - 27 Wu Chronicles were a team heading in the wrong direction at the time of the 1st power rankings, losing 7 of their last 9, planting them into the 27th spot. They finished the season on a 4 game winning streak & hope to be hitting their stride at just the right time for their Wild Card round encounter with Guns N Razors, a team that was just upset in the 1st round by a 12 seed last season. The insertion of @goon_2k into the starting lineup at C has been a spark plug for the squad, as @dvnxsty & Co. hope history repeats itself in the Shaolin Conference Wild Card Round. #20 Bulletproof Wallets (10-8) ⬇️ Prev. rank - 19 Bulletproof Wallets finished the 2nd half of the regular season by going 5-5, however, they finished the season winning 4 of 5 after picking up a former MVP KjspIash off the waiver wire. He rejoins his former Wu Chronicles backcourt mate @PhamousAZN as they look to keep things going vs #7 seeded Killa Hills in the Wild Card round. #19 Winter Warz (10-8) ⬇️ Prev. rank - 16 @HarlemEnergyNYC is back in the playoffs for the 2nd season in a row, this time as Stapleton Division champions. They'll get a 1st round bye, which they'll need after dropping their last 2 games of the regular season. @ayeePrecise's production has fell off a cliff this season compared to season 26 & 25, from 26.8ppg to just 14.7. @Nxtionz_ has also fell off from 22ppg to just 16, & Winter Warz finished 2 games worse than they did last season. But they led the league in ball protection with only 94 TOs all season (the only team to finish with under 100), & with a weakened division, they were able to do just enough down the stretch to win the division & get a much needed 1st round bye. #18 Knuckleheadz (11-7) ⬇️ Prev. rank - 15 The Knuckleheadz followed up a 6-2 1st half start with a mediocre 5-5 finish, but due to tie breakers they slide into the 6th seed in the Shaolin Conference, ahead of Ironman & Killa Hills, 2 teams ahead of them in the power rankings & the former of which swept them in the season series at the end of the regular season. The good news for the Knuckleheadz is 2nd round pick & rookie standout @RodFromThree is finally living up to his draft position, giving @TCUTutakk a legitimate backcourt partner in a matchup vs 9-9 Supreme Clientele. #17 Ol' Dirty Bastards (10-8) ⬆️ Prev. rank - 31 After beginning the 1st half of the season 4-7, the ODBs find themselves as the #10 seed in the Wu Tang Conference thanks to a 7 game win streak over the last week & a half. They had that win streak snapped in a tough loss to Ironman on the last night of the regular season, but nonetheless remain one of the hottest teams in SIBA heading into their 1st round matchup vs equally scorching #7 seeded Ghost Showers. #16 Ironman (11-7) ⬆️ Prev. rank - 22 Ironman powered their way into the 19th spot in the Power Rankings, & the 8th seed in the Shaolin Conference playoffs, with a 7-3 2nd half. Thanks largely to Season 27's Most Improved Player of the Year @Sixtapesss's career bests of 23.5 ppg & 39 total steals, as well as teammate & Comeback Player of the Year candidate PassTheBlack's career high 20.6 ppg, Ironman look poised to keep their unexpected season alive with a 1st round dance with Incarcerated Scarfaces. #15 Incarcerated Scarfaces (10-8) ⬆️ Prev. rank - 30 Last we saw this team, they were 3-5 & struggling with an underachieving All Star cast. Trading DTrick & Orbit Splash to 36 Chambers to land former Playoff MVP @YouBots_ lit a fire under their asses, going 7-3 to finish out. They'll lock horns with 8th seeded Ironman, whom they just defeated at home 72-59 their 2nd to last game of the regular season. #14 Killa Hills (11-7) ⬆️ Prev. rank - 21 Coach Hern did a phenomenal job with Killa Hills in the 2nd half of the season, turning a borderline playoff contender to the 7th overall seed with a 6-2 2nd half regular season finish. They had one of the most anemic offenses in the sport, finishing 33rd in points (59.6) & 32nd in assists (16.4). Though they finished 34th in steals (5.8), they had the overall best defense in the league this season, with a league best 53.94 points against average. They also finished 2nd in the league in opponent fg% (52%), 2nd in rebounds (20.2), 9th in blocked shots (1.2) & were one of the better teams at protecting the ball, finishing with 120 TOs (8th best). The emergence of Rookie of the Year candidate TulyCapalot_ as a viable 2nd option next to Triple Crown winner @myfitsrtrash make Killa Hills a legitimate threat to make a deep playoff push. #13 Poisonous Darts (11-7)⬇️ Prev. rank - 9 There was a point in the season where the Darts looked like they'd fumble the bag this season. That is, until, @Spam1Of1 hit a buzzer beater layup as time expired to salvage the 2nd game of a b2b with division rival & Wu Tang Conference's #1 seed Legendary Weapons. The win sparked a 4 game winning streak, after losing 4 of its previous 5, & propelled them to the playoffs as a 9 seed in HC @stepbacksam's 1st season at the helm. #12 Wu Gambinos (11-7)⬆️ Prev. rank - 26 Wu Gambinos turned an 0-4 disaster to an 11-7 finish & the 8th seed in the Wu Tang Conference, thanks to 1st year HC @xJvmper rallying his team. Comeback POY candidate Dior Price Tags returned to the living averaging a career best 13.3 rebounds per game as the team's starting C. DPOY candidate @Baited__ finished 2nd in the league in steals with 60, & as a team nobody forced more turnovers than Wu Gambinos averaging 9.2 swipes per. They own the league's 2nd best overall defense with 56.83 points against, & look to stifle the league's 26th offense in Poisonous Darts in the 1st round of the playoffs. #11 36 Chambers (13-5) ⬆️ Prev. rank - 23 Moving up 12 spots in the Power Rankings is 36 Chambers, who overwent a considerable facelift, first when HC @iamKade01 stepped down & was replaced by xKingsWorld, who had never coached before. Shortly after he took over, he pulled off the sweetest trade of the season, acquiring oDTrick & Orbit Splash from Incarcerated Scarfaces in exchange for YouBots. The results were a 9-2 completion of the regular season (which included 8 in a row) & 36 Chambers' best record since Season 21 & their 1st playoff appearance since Season 22. KingsWorld has put himself right in the front of the race for Coach of the Year, & his 36 Chambers comfortably in the 6th seed where they'll be heavily favored vs 11th seeded Assassination Day. #10 Guns N Razors (13-5) ⬆️ Prev. rank - 12 GNR was 6-4 after their 1st 10 games and although they had a winning record, it seemed like they were not living up to preseason expectations at all. They hadn't put a win streak together up until that point and, after last season's 1st round exit at the hands of 12th seed Liquid Swords, alarms had started to sound. HC @xSpammy_ quickly started exploring options elsewhere; after a failed attempt at a trade to bring Unguardable over from Bells Of War, he set his sights on upgrading his front court. The team landed Season 16 MVP vSkyzah in a 3 team trade that sent veteran and 5th round keeper xJKeith33 packing to Older Gods. Suddenly, the team that couldnt rub 2 consecutive wins together ended the regular season on a 7 game win streak. They look to correct their Season 26 1st round embarrassment this week vs Dvnxsty & a pesky Wu Chronicles squad. #9 Pro Tools (13-5) ⬆️ Prev. rank - 11 Pro Tools wrapped up their season 27 campaign winning 8 of their final 11 games & secured their 3rd straight Mariner's Harbor Division title. Thanks, in part, to HC NoVision taking advantage of the Iron Flag trade deadline firesale, landing up & coming rookies Exvu & NotKilla. They'll enjoy a 1st round bye, hopefully using the time off to fix any cracks in the foundation, exposed by a season series split with Killa Hills followed by getting swept by Knuckleheadz 2-zip. #8 Ferryboat Killaz (13-5) ⬇️ Prev. rank - 7 Ferryboat Killaz have officially moved on from the Vxnom era, & have fully embraced the HoodieRoss era. They won the Annadale Division & enjoy a 1st round bye with a 13-5 record. It's their first division title & best regular season finish since they went 16-0 & won the SIBA Finals in season 10. There is cause for concern, however, as they've only defeated 3 teams with a winning record this season, & are 3-5 vs playoff teams. #7 Ghost Showers (12-6) ⬆️ Prev. rank - 24 MVP candidate @DylanMSanderson has placed this team square on his back in the 2nd half of the season, finishing 8-1 over their last 9 coming into the playoffs. He's been carrying the team all season, but as of late, his supporting cast of StewTrolls, xPRIIDE, & Hennyiana have finally showed up to the party. All he needed was a little help from his friends, & he turned a walk in the park in the Prince's Bay Division by Legendary Weapons into a near photo finish. They came up short, finishing 2 games behind for the division title, but head into the playoffs as one of SIBA's hottest teams, favored to win their Wild Card encounter with 10 seed Ol' Dirty Bastards. #6 Shadowboxers (14-4) ↔️ Prev. rank - 6 @djaytoocold has delivered a Tottenville Division title to Shadowboxer Nation in his 2nd season as head coach. Draft day favorites to win the whole thing after @DatBoyDimez fell all the way to 17th in the draft, Shadowboxers took 1st place in the division early & never relinquished the lead. So why are they ranked behind Rushing Elephants on the Power Rankings? Well, like Ferryboat Killaz, they own just 3 wins all season vs teams with winning records. They had a chance to make a statement & take the #1 overall seed in the conference, but failed the test & lost to Legendary Weapons. They can be great on any given night, but provided their lack of success against quality opponents, its fair to doubt their ability in a 5 game series in the later rounds. #5 Rushing Elephants (13-5) ↔️ Prev. rank - 5 Rushing Ellies enjoyed one of the most difficult regular season schedules in the league, & passed the test with flying colors thanks mostly to their godly backcourt of Meter Dunk & @ScoreTooMuch. They finished in the top 10 in every major statistical category except rebounds - 3rd in the league in scoring (68.9), 1st in assists (21.7), T-1st in blocked shots (1.7), 4th in steals (8.3), 2nd in 3pt made per game (12.6), 7th in ball protection (119 TOs), & 10th in opponent FG% (55%). And though they finished outside the top 10 in boards, they finished 12th (18.0). They are a complete team top to bottom, & are a scary Wild Card team for whoever they face off with in the Divisional Round - assuming they dont get upset by Golden Arms. #4 Legendary Weapons (14-4) ⬇️ Prev. rank - 3 Its a testament to how great the teams are in the top 3, that the #1 overall seed in the Wu Tang Conference with a 14-4 record can move DOWN a spot in the Power Rankings. They finished with the same record as Cash Rules, but by virtue of a tiebreaker (conference wins) they claim the #1 seed. Had they faced each other, a more clearer case could be made either way. The scoring disparity between the 2 teams cant be ignored (63.4 - 73.1), so we're going to settle with putting LW in the 4th spot. Still, they're the kings of the Conference, & are perhaps destined to get through Cash Rules if they want to win their 2nd SIBA Finals in 6 seasons. #3 Cash Rules (14-4) ⬆️ Prev. rank - 4 SIBA's most potent offense, led by MVP frontrunner @773MDS & his league leading 39.4ppg, moves up 1 spot in the Power Rankings to settle in at #3. The Wu Tang Conference's 3 seed just might be the frontrunner to represent the conference in the Finals. KHPJ was drafted with the final pick in the 1st round - to the surprise of many - but he's returned that value in the form of a league-leading 62 steals. Season after season of disappointment had the entire league believing it's time for Mikeyy2K to step down as a HC, but their 1st winning record & division title since Season 22 has put a halt to any retirement plans. They'll watch the Wild Card round patiently waiting for their next opponent. #2 Glaciers Of Ice (16-2) ⬇️ Prev. rank - 1 It seems impossible to imagine that a team that finishes 16-2 not only doesn't finish #1 on the Power Rankings, but doesnt even finish with the league's best record. Nobody's talking about the Draft Day "reach" of SGT BSandy with the 12th overall pick anymore. Instead, they're ducking matchups vs this team & pray they dont have to face them in the Divisional round. It's a 3 horse race for Coach of the Year between @xoPest_, xKingsWorld, & @ZiG_VIP . #1 Bring Da Ruckus (17-1) ⬆️ Prev. rank - 2 They might get eliminated in the Conference Finals again, but that doesn't matter for the purposes of this Power Rankings. There's absolutely no way the team that finishes with the best record in SIBA regular season history does not take #1 in the rankings. 2nd in scoring (69.1) 2nd in total FG% (64%), T-2 in ball protection (107 TOs), but 1st in wins & losses. The team lost key players to the draft this season but managed to improve from their 14-4 record last season & win their 2nd straight New Brighton Division title. They'll worry about the playoffs later.

Playoff picture at a glance. The 4 division winners of each conference get a 1st round bye, the Wild Card round will be BO5 between seeds 5-12. The lowest seeded wild Card teams to advance will play the highest seeded division champs. All rounds BO5 til the Finals BO7. Teams "In The Hunt" are still mathematically alive for a playoff spot! @2KIntel @NBA2KFilmRoom @TheNBA2KW @NBA2KLab @2KLFollower @NAPX2k @LL_Nap @Austin__Mack11 @TheeJoeVegas @CascioNJ @CoachJuice__ @BIGBUCK860 @ZiG_VIP @PRx_Shackle @ZachDaDon_ @TheGlueGuys_ @SIBA_TODAY @MattTaylorLoL @BrookLAN_NY

Here's the race to the bottom as we take a look at how the lottery teams are shaping up heading into the final few days of the regular season. Wu Gambinos clinched best odds at winning the draft lottery for Season 23, & we're happy to say that we won't be witnessing a winless team for the 1st time since season 19!

College standings after 1 week. Reigning national champs Lincoln Railsplitters continue their dominance over the North Shore Conference, but they got company at the top as the Brooklyn College Bulldogs share the same 4-0 record. In the South, New Dorp leads the entire league with 6 wins but Wagner sits 2 back in the win column for the Outerbridge Division lead. Things are starting to heat up as we head into week #2 of College season #9! @BlkFrankWhite1 @LL_Nap @NAPX2k @CoachJuice__ @2KIntel @NBA2KFilmRoom @TheNBA2KW @2kProAmENews @2Kproamrecap @2KLFollower @The2KDatabase @BearDaBeast23 @Spam1Of1 @GoatsGamingOrg
