I thought retiring from basketball was the end of a chapter. I didn’t realize it was the beginning of my most important one.
After 18 years of professional basketball, my family and I moved to Naga the city where my wife grew up and where we chose to build our next chapter together.
I came here hoping to find ways to give back. What I didn’t expect was how quickly this community would welcome me.
What started as a conversation about Bagyo.app, my social impact project under the Blockchain for Good Alliance focused on disaster preparedness and flood resilience, has grown into opportunities to support grassroots sports and youth development across the Bicol Region.
Basketball gave me more than a career. It gave me purpose, discipline, and a platform to serve others. Today, that same mission continues just in a different way.
To the people of Naga and Mayor Leni, thank you for the trust. I’m honored by the opportunity to contribute, excited for the work ahead, and committed to helping create more opportunities for the next generation.

After careful consideration, we have decided that our account will not be organising or collecting donations for SDA voting this year.
This decision was not made lightly. After what happened during the last paid voting we supported, we feel it is best for us not to promote the ongoing vote this time.
This does not mean we are telling anyone else what to do. Anyone who wishes to support the voting on their own is free to do so. That choice belongs to each individual.
We also want to clarify that SDA voting is done through collecting red chamsim in the Idol Champ app, which can be done through free methods as well. But indeed, there are paid options, which are highly likely the most plausible way to win. Anyone who wishes to vote that way is welcome to do so.
We hope everyone can understand our decision and respect that this is simply the direction our account has chosen to take this year.
