A beautiful Vigil tonight at @CastletonUMC to honor Ariel, the 18-year-old who was tragically killed, and to pray for her family and friends. Her family did a very good job of memorializing her life when they spoke. In addition to the LN-LC shooting last night as well, it’s been a difficult week for our community. My deepest condolences to all those who have been impacted by both tragedies.

Today’s food drive at 75th/Shadeland amidst a downpour was unlike anything else! Thanks to @CastletonUMC , @GleanersFBIndy , Pastor Matt Landry, @JoeGGarrison and all the volunteers for all the hard work today. We delivered food to about 500 families despite the horrible weather!

Check out the schedule for summer locations of the CARE Mobile Food Pantry, made possible by Gleaners Food Bank. CARE Mobiles are open to the public and will be at four locations in Indianapolis. Mobiles will operate June 1 through August 31, 2023. One location is @CastletonUMC!
