this number doesn’t make sense to me. because 70 percent of gdp is consumer spending and ai is taking away the jobs so how can the GDP go up with less jobs? the rest is investment by companies and government spending. ok i get it the 30 percent can go up and even go up 10 20 times because jobs are being replaced and companies invest in ai infrastructure. government spending won’t go up a lot because no taxes less money… so if the gdp goes up it’s just by companies building infrastructure and making robots. that’s like to reduce prices but who will buy all the stuff of us people have no money? maybe government taxing the work of a robot and charge companies the tax? ? that’s the only way we can have more money and more things.#ai#xai#GDP@xai#productivity

with Ai taking out jobs do you think we’re going to have a housing crash? at the same time inflation due to tariffs is making real estate a good investment… #xai#unemployment
Sitting on the cliff of the AI impact on jobs A thought entered my mind. I remembered joining the Human Computer Interaction interdisciplinary group at Iowa State University and being full of enthusiasm for the potential and how senior members of the marketing department pulled me aside to warn me that this wasn’t a rigurous field and I should focus on my bread and butter marketing papers. The advice also came from people publishing marketing articles about print advertising!! My mind was always naturally drawn to interdisciplinary research -I picked decision making that exists in finance, medical field, marketing, psychology and public policy. But my critics always argued that I needed a narrow focus. Oh well, AI will take over the narrow focus, plus the research in any narrow area has exhausted anything with meaning.. perhaps it’s time we spread our wings a little and adventure into the unknown with some riskier bigger questions if we want to stay relevant??? #ai#highered
Something just popped into my mind- getting my first professor on marketing job at iowa state university i joined the interdisciplinary program in human computer interaction and my senior wise professor peers warned me this was not rigorous enough while they were publishing papers about print advertising!! #ai#aitakeover
