A few pics from my recent trip to the summit of Mount Lamlam, highpoint of Guam at 1,332 feet. April 6th and 8th, 2026. Despite the relatively low elevation, reaching the true highpoint requires a challenging bushwhack. My fourth of six US Territorial/Federal District highpoints. 🇺🇸🏔️🙌

Pigeon Mountain, Fulton County for NY State COHP #22. Found this southern Adirondacks peak to be remarkably similar in character to Tenant Mountain, Saratoga County … from the low lying swampland to the bugs to the forest to the nearly identical summit elevations. Horse flies were biting. Big difference is that the route to Pigeon Mountain is way more straight-forward. Took the County Line Lake Trail to about 2100’ and then broke hard left (west) for a steep but simple bushwhack through open woods and several cliffy areas to the unmarked summit area. Never really needed my GPS but broke it out for extra practice during the off-trail part of the hike. Also nice to have confirmation of having reached the summit.

Another fun one the other day on Pond Hill and Henry Hill at the top of Albany County, NY. Bumps me up to 19/62 NY county highpoints. Not quite ready to commit to the bit but leaning more and more in that direction. 🥾

Schoharie County, NY Highpoint … Huntersfield Mountain. Elevation 3,423 feet. A legit objective. 🏔️🥾

Also realizing that I never posted anything here from our awesome February ski trip to Heavenly Resort on Lake Tahoe. Epic snow conditions. Almost too much … 58 inches in just three days! ⛷️🎿❄️
