Catch22 welcomes the announcement made by @patmcfaddenmp that Gov is expanding the Youth Guarantee to 24-year-olds, a change we’ve long called for. Expanding apprenticeship units, including in the energy transition sector, will open vital routes to stable, future-proof jobs.

Close partnership between government, employers, education, and the third sector is required for the Youth Guarantee to succeed and increase young people’s life chances and social mobility.
