This exhibition centres women’s experiences, and explores questions of what we can and cannot know about people in the past, and how to heal trauma; it was a pleasure to write about it for Studio International
'These two fascinating, interrelated exhibitions – one of a 19th-century Black Barbadian, the other by a contemporary Barbadian-Canadian artist – pose intriguing questions about the past.' Review @BarbadosMuseum by @CathComputerArt studiointernational.com/inde…

I’m showing this poster at the @computerartssoc exhibition "Drivers" at @bcs. Using early machine learning techniques, Ecogame was the first multiplayer digitally driven simulated 'game' in the UK. An historical precedent for using contemporary Al in a more human-centred way.

Thank you to the @Foundation_HWF for commissioning me. This will appear in the June print issue of @LeonardoISAST with pictures!
GENERATIVE ART SUMMIT REVIEW IN "LEONARDO" Review by Catherine Mason @CathComputerArt , one of my wonderful guests of honor of our four-day-summit in Berlin. I am very glad that it is published now in the Leonardo's review archive, the famous art-science magazine founded by Frank Malina. Herbert, a friend of Frank, was also a member of the editorial artist's board of Lenoardo for many years. Below once again our family photo of the summit - still nice to look at my fantastic guests of honor, refreshing the wonderful memories! Second photo: Frank Malina's work donated to the foundation and shown in the summit's exhibition in Städtische Galerie Wolfsburg that opened at our Summit's day trip. Finally a photo of "Sandfuction 4K: The OrchidCage", based on @HerbertWFranke visionary sci fi novel from 1961. leonardo.info/review/2025/01…
