She emphasized the importance of keeping the Strait of Hormuz open, proposed a G7 joint critical minerals stockpiling framework, and called for stronger action on North Korea’s nuclear and missile programs, cyber threats, and the abduction issue.
Takaichi also outlined Japan’s position on China and broader Indo-Pacific security challenges, stressing closer G7 coordination.
