Friends, I need to ask for something today.
Yolanda is scheduled for her liver surgery this afternoon between 2:00 and 3:00 PM Pacific Time.
This operation is critical. The surgeons will be fighting to remove the complication that the colon cancer which has metastasized turning our lives upside down and has tested us in ways I never thought possible.
Over the past five plus years, Yolanda has endured more than anyone should have to bearβsurgeries, treatments, setbacks, victories, and countless battles that most people never see. I only share maybe one out of five. π’
Through it all, she has remained remarkably strong, faithful, and courageous. She is still inspiring hospital employees, doctors and nurses with her counsel, wisdom and kind words.
Today, I'm asking for a massive wave of prayer.
Please pray for:
π God's hand to guide every surgeon, nurse, and member of the medical team.
π A successful operation with no complications.
π Complete removal of the cancer.
π Strength, peace, and comfort for Yolanda before, during, and after surgery.
π Wisdom for her doctors and a smooth recovery.
π A miracle.
No matter your faith tradition, please take a moment today and lift Yolanda up in prayer, positive thoughts, or whatever form of support you believe in.
The next several hours are incredibly important.
Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for loving Yolanda. Thank you for praying. β€οΈ
We are trusting God with this battle.

THREAD: My wife, Yolanda, is fighting for her life. We need your help. π§΅
Over five years. Stage 4 colon cancer. Metastasized to her liver. Now her lungs.
Over 100 rounds of chemotherapy. Five surgeries β including a brutal 10-hour operation and a 3 am emergency surgery at 3 am (last September), where a trauma surgeon gave her a 70% chance of never leaving the table.
She proved them wrong.
