ALT Are you due for cervical screening this year?�You are eligible to screen every five years if you have a cervix, have ever been sexually active and are 25 to 74 years old.�Cervical screening checks for the presence of HPV- a common virus that can cause cervical cancer. It does not check for or prevent ovarian or endometrial cancer.�Contact your GP or health care provider to check if you're due or overdue for a Cervical Screening Test. You can make a booking with them to do the test.
