Great recognition for Caxton CEO Cybele Koning last week as she was awarded the ‘Dame Quentin Bryce Domestic Violence Prevention Advocate Award’.

There were 600 kids aged 10-13 in prison in 2018-19 with more than 65% Aboriginal kids. 86% are currently ‘on remand’ meaning they are locked up without being found guilty. For black kids an av 71 days is spent in prison compared to 50 days for white kids
