We are transforming stories with different materials, characters and solutions. The students are working on oral language development, story structure, creative expression, social skills, fine-motor skills and self-regulation. LEARNING and having FUN is the KINDERgarten way!
We’ve begun experimenting with colour transformations through paint. “Here is indigo, this is violet. What’s this (red-violet)?”-L “It (mixing blue and yellow) really does make green!”-E. As Spring slowly arrives, we are wondering which colours will appear outside!
Happiness is something if you give it away 🎵 This week we made friendship marble paintings. Coming home shortly!

Signature orange colours painted on a collaborative heart. Can you find “orange, orange”, “suspicious red” or “orange sunset”? These young hearts are excited to be a part of Truth and Reconciliation. They know and believe Every Child Matters!

What kindergarteners think all kids need? Families, friends, kind teachers, warm hugs, feel smart, feel safe, full tummies, not to be changed, to keep special belongings, to keep their words. Our words tied to the circle, help us remember to hold each other up. We are connected.
