My boss’s Good Cause Eviction law (which is what they’re describing in Salazar’s section) helped me bring my rent increase down to $0 this year.
My landlord hadn’t properly followed the law in the past and pointing that out is how I was able to negotiate.
They were elected as democratic socialists and they govern as democratic socialists.
And now it’s time to elect even more.
