Today, on the sidelines of the G20 Social Summit, I joined the Roger Federer Foundation and global partners for an important dialogue on why Early Childhood Development must be at the centre of global development.
A new learning brief launched by the Roger Federer Foundation shows clearly that investing in the early years does more than support education, it accelerates multiple G20 priorities at once:
✅ stronger human capital
✅ women’s employment and local economic activity
✅ improved child nutrition and wellbeing
✅ social protection and inclusion
✅ resilience and long-term growth
Today’s conversation reaffirmed that if we want to build stronger, fairer societies, we must start by giving every child the strongest possible foundation.
