Highlight of the week: We will get celebration cake this afternoon! Will let you know why soonish.
So proud of awesome Dr. Charlotte Stadler for that Nature method publication :)
Nature Methods: "IF and fluorescent-protein tagging show high correlation for protein loc. in mammalian cells." ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2343…

Publ. in JPR: "RNA deep sequencing as a tool for sel. of cell lines for systematic subcell. loc. of all hm proteins."ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?ter…

Lotsa things going on the group lately. Several publications come out, incl. Nature Method one!
They even want me to reply to Mathias Uhlén's congratulatory email (on release 10.0 of proteinatlas.org/) with #wootwoot. I think not.

On positive side: The release gave me the possibility to introduce "woot woot" at work. Everyone's really excited about the new it-word!
Also, the HPA project is divided into diff sites. Those at AlbaNova get cake. Yes, we're about upset about not being invited. #lasttweet
Bad thing about PI:s being at #HUPO2012: We don't get cake nor champagne to celebrate the release. #wegotitlasttime
Reg. last RT: Our PhD student Charlotte Stadler were among the finalists w 2 images, see eg. biotechniques.com/news/biote…

Biotechniques had a Proteomics Art Contest! Intrigued, I followed the link... biotechniques.com/news/biote…

We're really proud about the dictionary (in case you couldn't tell). And the new release. Of course. But mostly the dictionary #myownopinion
Check out the dictionary at proteinatlas.org/dictionary/ and the CELLPROFILING DICT. at proteinatlas.org/dictionary/… #proteinatlas #HUPO2012 woot woot!

Now w. a dictionary feat. IHC (normal and cancer) and IF images with info about staining and interpretetion. #proteinatlas #HUPO2012
The new release contains 17k ab:s, corresp. to 14k human genes (~70% of the human genome) proteinatlas.org/ #proteinatlas #HUPO2012

The new protein atlas (version 10.0) has been released at #HUPO2012! Go check it out at proteinatlas.org/

>> All of them are great presenters, and we really encourage you to listen to them! #HUPO2012
>> and Mathias Uhlen is presenting the Nature Antibodypedia Portal (10/9) and how siRNA can validate IF data (13/9) #HUPO2012 >>
