I still hold $CELO. That means I'm suffering massive losses. I've been thinking about ways to monetize this account to keep it running, and realized it's impossible with the previous operating method with high-quality content. For monetization, this account will be filled with more casual content. As long as I'm stuck with CELO, CELO will still be the main topic.

Coinbase previously announced that customers must withdraw CGLD by January 13 to prevent funds becoming inaccessible. This withdrawal deadline is no longer required.

Hey @marek_, I spoke with the team and they will continue looking at options next week. As it stands, given our resources, supporting the migration isn’t something we have been able to commit to. Separately, regardless of our ability to support the migration, we plan to evaluate supporting Celo as an L2. Personally speaking, as someone whose first wallet was Valora, I have always loved Celo’s mission. I can attest to the fact that the difficulty here is purely resourcing / technical. There is no contentious hard fork.

Woah. I think this is likely an oversight internally in Coinbase. There is no chance the company building the leading Ethereum L2 in users and a core contributor to OP public goods will choose to discontinue supporting Celo after it becomes an OP stack based L2.
