Want to know what doesn’t qualify as harassment? Reposting someone’s own public statements.
If you choose to make statements publicly, other people are free to share those statements publicly. That’s not harassment- it’s accountability.
I’m simply giving a larger audience the opportunity to see exactly what was said and draw their own conclusions. The issue isn’t that the statements were shared; the issue is that many people don’t like the public reaction to them.
It’s easy to feel comfortable inside an echo chamber where everyone agrees with you. The broader public often has a different perspective.
And to be clear, I never shared this individual’s address. In fact, he was the one who publicly referenced mine. Despite that, he is now attempting to portray himself as the victim of harassment for having his own public statements reposted and discussed.
You’re free to say whatever you want in this country. You are NOT free from the consequences.
UPDATE: Traveling musician known as Sifu_Gaga on TikTok has responded to the backlash he received after publicly stating that he was glad Jeff Metcalf’s son was dead. He also referred to Charlie Kirk as “whistle neck.”
Previously, he stated that he would be at an elevated position during the trial and would make sure that cars “driving recklessly” would “coast to a stop.”
He has now addressed me directly on his TikTok story, stating that he will be coming to Texas and “coming at the —-.” He then ambiguously referenced my address. Anyone familiar with me and the surrounding circumstances would understand exactly who and what he was referring to.
He also said “Are you trying to get all Austin on me?”
These statements have been documented and reported to the appropriate authorities.
