This is the most “The European mind can’t comprehend this” moment of my life. One of my friends said, “Punch me five times tomorrow and I’ll still think this isn’t real.”
They’ve been doing that. I’ve been retired for 18 months and have had (3) recoups now for thousands for surgeries performed in ‘23 & ‘24.
Ins Co’s can go back upto (5) years. And you’re right, you have zero recourse. They take it and that’s it! It’s criminal and yet nothing from our national leadership.
What is it like in the real world? When your company renders a service and sends an invoice, how soon do you expect to be paid? What if they reject your invoice because they say it wasn’t filled out correctly or they changed their mind? Welcome to insurance companies. @mcuban

I’ve used most all of them. I love personas anatomic l/r baseplates, cones are nice, and plus femurs are great. S&N is easy to go to hinge. Attune is great with one baseplate for the whole platform supposedly can go to hinge with no additional cuts.
I’ve volunteered with Faith In Practice for years, and it’s one of the most impactful organizations I’ve seen. Every dollar goes directly to patient care. Real people. Real change. #medtwitterdonate.faithinpractice.org/f…
Neither confirming nor denying what I matched into, but there is nothing loser-like to match into family medicine.
More family medicine docs are sorely needed in this country and has some amazing doctors 💕 nothing but respect
Scrubs is awesome. That said, it has to be ER for me. It was pretty instrumental in me going into medicine and hits me square in the feels when I watch (for reasons I don’t understand at times). My fav character- Abby Lockhart.
