Another huge step forward for the Buffalo Central Terminal’s reactivation. I was proud to get the ball rolling in 2018 by securing $5 million in state funding - the first major public funding for this site since its closure in the 1970s.
This progress brings us closer to a vision of a Terminal that anchors the Broadway-Fillmore community and benefits all of Western New York. Kudos to the Central Terminal Restoration Corporation and the hardworking construction teams who made this possible.

Check out the community gathering space we worked on for @CentralTerminal's Great Lawn as part of our #CommunityPlacemakingGrants initiative. The custom, extra-long tables & sculptural seating were fabricated by young people with @FoundryBuffalo's workforce development program.
