I was using Grok as a debate partner, and this is how it closed one of its arguments.

If you want to argue this, then provide a term for the type of governance that applies specifically to agents controlling other agents, because it is obviously different. You know this is what I am referring to, and you are dodging it through false equivalence.

“Control” isn’t even the verb in the definition; it’s “overseeing.” Oversight of control or direction. Oversight requires an agent, so no, the moon does not literally “govern” the tides. That’s an analogical usage.

The only thing you have proven is your willingness to explicitly contradict yourself, and your misunderstanding of basic logic and definitions.

If legitimacy can exist without consent, then legitimacy can exist without consent. That was my position from the start, and you have conceded it repeatedly while declaring that you haven’t.

It is pointless to tell the strong they must be virtuous. You must instead demand of the virtuous their duty to be strong.

Someone must sit upon the Throne of Damocles. Pray he remembers the Sword. Remind him if he does not. If no one else will remember it, sit upon the Throne yourself, and hold the Sword to your own throat, even as you wield it against evil.

Libertarianism treats Faust as solely responsible for his pact, as though Mephistopheles is not, himself, guilty for offering the deal in the first place.

Just as every man is conservative in what he knows best, every man is libertarian in his own vice.

“The problem” with society isn’t too much or too little freedom, but misordered freedom. You are free to live in the pod, eat the bugs, and waste away your meaningless, atomized life on the newest consumer distraction.

I was skeptically ok with the Iran op, with Venezuela buying a lot of goodwill. The longer this goes on, the less I accept the justifications, because it just looks like GWOT 2.0, and the admin can’t stop implying that if Israel weren’t a factor, none of this would be happening.

Voting by mail is illegal because you have to buy a stamp every time you do it. That's a poll tax.

What if Vote By Mail is illegal because you have to buy a forever stamp to send it in every time you vote?

I'm going to do this thought exercise after all: Can you name me a specific instance of a specific person killed by a government without a government official ordering it, setting up a regulation pertaining to it, or being involved with the death in any way, shape, or form? 1/
