Just got diagnosed with pneumonia. Again.
For those keeping score at home, that's pneumonia twice in 6 months. On top of the other fun recent diagnoses.
At this point, my immune system isn't a security team. It's a decorative suggestion.
Every time I think I've unlocked all the health conditions, my body releases a surprise expansion pack. Doctors continue to be impressed by my body's commitment to overachieving.
Most people collect hobbies. I collect specialists.
I'm starting to feel like a side character in a medical drama. Every season they have to invent a new plotline because the writers ran out of ideas three diagnoses ago.
And apparently my lungs wanted more screen time this episode.
My health history is starting to read less like a medical chart and more like the backstory of a Victorian child who keeps coughing dramatically into a handkerchief.
Anyway, if anyone needs me, I'll be drinking fluids, taking antibiotics, and waiting to see what diagnosis my body tries to unlock next.
Please, for the love of God, let it not be a rare one.
