50% of women with non reportable NIPT were found to have cancer. Many had fatigue, lumps, pain etc. that had been dismissed or attributed to pregnancy. 6 of 120 enrolled had already died of their cancer. We really need to fund more maternal health studies. genomeweb.com/molecular-diag…

Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest cancers due largely to chemoresistance. HudsonAlpha scientists from @sjcoop1's lab, including @ChIPseqCarter & Emily Gordon, PhD, published results from a study that identified potential new targets for treatment 🧵⤵️

Interested in single cell? Keep an eye out for opportunities! Actually you better run to the opportunity once it’s open! @LindsayRizzardi is a one of a kind scientist and I learned so much from her the past 4 years!
Thrilled to announce that the Rizzardi lab will be opening this fall @UAB_Biochem! We’ll apply #singlecell and long read technologies to investigate regulatory mechanisms disrupted in neurological diseases. Be on the lookout for opportunities to join soon!
