One story that stood out to me was Sarah Kasnick. A child in her care was on that waitlist. The child has autism and is nonverbal — no daycare in the area would take her.
Since Nicolle was detained, Kasnick quit her job bc she can't find care.

We don't know what's going to happen to Nicolle and her family. Her detention has dredged up so many questions around the "why." Why was someone who gave back so much targeted?
