Donald Trump’s name has been removed from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC.
The move follows a court ruling that found Trump’s name had been added to the building illegally. Judges also rejected an emergency appeal seeking to block its removal.
In December, Trump added his name to the centre after replacing several board members and later becoming chairman of the board.
The Kennedy Center opened in 1971 as a living memorial to President John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1963.

A tornado struck Streator, Illinois on Thursday, tearing roofs off houses and bringing down trees.
The US National Weather Service warned the tornado threat was significantly higher than in a typical severe weather event, with an elevated risk of violent tornadoes.
The Chicago area was upgraded to a Level 4 out of 5 severe storm risk, local media reported.

The protest comes as Musk floats his company on the UK stock market.
