I shit on FNaF and its story constantly but theoretical details like this are so hard not to love.
I love the implications that William using Fredbear to commit the DCI in FNaF 2 may have. With Spring Bonnie, he's more flamboyant and cocky, but he's clearly more careful, stuffing the bodies in the suits so that he isn't caught.

This would also make me less confident in Scraptrap being a separate suit from Springtrap. Afton wouldn't feel the same power and malevolence that he did as Springtrap if he swapped suits, meanwhile we know that he did.

Not to mention the established circumstances of Afton removing himself from the suit in TFC don't line up that well with the state he's in as Scraptrap. In TFC, he's barely clinging to life and needs constant medical support, meanwhile as Scraptrap, he seems (somewhat) healthy.

Fredbear was Henry's suit, Henry was everything William wanted to be, so putting that suit on makes him remember how he's "unworthy" of donning it. He can't handle the idea that he isn't like Henry, so he lashes out more severely.

This could all be wrong, I could just be looking too far into this, but if this is even true in the slightest, damn, it's cool. I love this idea that William has different personalities depending on what suit he wears.
