Coastal Carolina has landed Mississippi State transfer Peter Mershon! 🌴⚾️
Mershon appeared in 10 games as a freshman this season, batting .300 with 6 RBI.
The South Carolina product was the top-ranked recruit in the state and the No. 6 catcher nationally in the 2025 class according to Perfect Game.

Our @KendallRogers wrote this piece on @CoastalBaseball's hiring of Chris Lemonis. Hard to imagine any coaching hire making more sense than this one, given Lemonis' track record & roots. He seemed energized & ready to get back after it when I saw him last.
