Justin Chambers is rippin' the Cal League hitters a new one. Last night 2IP | 0H | 0R | 3Ks | 0BB Chambers lowered his ERA to 2.19 and got the W to move to 2-0. His WHIP is just 1.10, and he has 47 Ks in 27.1 innings. The Sinker/sweeper combo is just crazy good in terms of the tunnel point vs. the split on the ending point. As a, for instance, check out the last pitch in this video...Dayum! #dodgers

Justin Chambers finished things up last night for Rancho, getting the last 4 outs, and he was very impressive, registering 3Ks in the 4 outs he recorded. Chambers' backfoot slider is really good! He lowered his ERA to 3.24, he has 40 Ks in 23.1 innings, an average against of just .161, and has given up just 3 runs in his last 11.1 innings (2.38), which spanned the entire month of July. #dodgers

Congrats to Justin Chambers, who made his affiliated debut last night with Rancho, and also got his 1st professional W. Chambers is just 19 and was drafted by Milwaukee in 2023, but was then traded to the Dodgers for Bryan Hudson just ahead of last year (2024). Dude has SERIOUS potential, and tons of swing and miss stuff. He struck out 30 hitters in 15 innings in his action at the complex, then struck out 2 more last night. Chambers features a sinker/sweeper mix with an occasional cutter and change. Last night he was 93-95 on the velo, and his ball moves area codes. That was FUN to watch! #dodgers
