Seriously, stop with these tweets. It's a terrible comms strategy; you're not convincing anyone and it just looks extremely dismissive of residents' very real concerns. No amount of vacuous messaging will minimise the disruption & impact on us residents, it rubs salt in the wound
As a long-standing member of @FinsParkFriends, I am utterly disgusted by the way our local park has been treated.
Green spaces should be preserved for public use, not vandalised for commercial gain.
Finsbury Park must be repaired — and run for the community, by the community.
The extent of @toughmudder’s violation of Finsbury Park is even greater than I had imagined.
They’ve taken over literally the whole park.
Why have you let them, @haringeycouncil? @FinsParkFriends
The destruction which the council allowed to be wreaked on Finsbury Park over the weekend is disgraceful. It is unfair on residents, and the Labour-run council cannot credibly say that they have been taken by surprise given the nature of the event.
