there’s so much subtlety and nuance in the acting in this show and between lestat’s narration vs what we see actually happening 😵💫 in the “show vs tell” equation it’s easy to think they’re doing “tell” but instead they’re really doing “show” and it’s mindblowing

I never watched euphoria because I had no desire to do that to myself emotionally or mentally, but I’ve seen clips of rue over the years obviously (because of zendaya), and I gotta say it’s viscerally upset me to find out what happened to her in the end

people fuck up pronouns even when SOBER, including people who have good intentions… & Lestat is so far from sober he was actively hallucinating for the entire later sequence
the show isn’t condoning misgendering just as much as it isn’t condoning drugs
