Merry Christmas to all of our wonderful clients and contributors. 2024 has seen us up sticks from Birmingham to our new studio in Worcester and we're so delighted to be here that we've sung you a little Christmas ditty! Here's to a fabulous 2025🎅🎄☃️
21 years ago this month we started what's become quite a journey. When CharacterShop launched from our first home at BBC Pebble Mill studios we couldn't have imagined we'd still be doing it 21 years later! Here's those 21 years wrapped up in 15 seconds!
Great to see two of our shows on the header of YouTube kids channel Wizz! Woolly and Tig and Let's Go See sit nicely alongside some other kids TV favourites.
Welcome to the world of Lammy! So happy to share this adorrrrrable cartoon I’ve been lucky enough to work on this year with the best team. I play Lammy & Mommy Lamb 🥰🎶🐑Thank you @CharacterShopUK@1MirandaLarson @barrie_bignold @clearcutsound @JVAgencyyoutube.com/watch?v=GK8g3f1Q…
I get to voice a puppy in a new animation! So much fun today in Soho & finally getting to see @1MirandaLarson - one of the original Thomas writers!!! @CharacterShopUK
My favourite CS project was Woolly & Tig. A cute, cuddly spider is not an easy brief, so to watch the development of Woolly from the early sketches into an endearing and engaging companion for a wee lassie was wonderful to witness. Andy Guest.

Visit Birmingham is one of my first projects in my career. Seeing my design work come alive, was astounding. The CS team are exceptionally talented and this project will always be a good memory because of them. Happy 20th Birthday CharacterShop! Steven Pascoe

My most memorable CharacterShop project to work on has to be the Bush Babies TV commercials. From storyboarding, to directing the shoots, to building the edits, these projects had a bit of everything. Happy Birthday Charactershop! Steve Best.

One of my favourite projects has to be Strayliens. I was involved in the shooting & audio post production which opened up a lot of space for creativity with the sound, creating tension to the mix to support the score composed by @barrie_bignold Pete Styles #BIGbirthday#animation
My inner six year old jumped for joy to be part of Bush Baby World, I'll always have a soft spot for Cyril the Squirrel in Time Travelling Detectives and am thrilled to play Pilot Polly in the exciting adventures of Lets Go See. Emma Tate

Disneyland Adventures was only the 2nd project I worked on after graduating. Animating beloved characters such as Jesse from Toy Story, Eeyore, and Stitch was a genuine pleasure & it remains one of my favourite projects over a decade later. Alex Watson

I had a ton of fun working on Gully's Toon Time! I have a soft spot for amusement parks since I was a kid, so designing mascots for one was a blast! It was also great to see the characters fully modelled and animated in the YouTube shorts. Nicole Fortes @nikiforts
Hard decision but my fav CharacterShop project to work on so far is probably Bush Baby World. It was actually the first project I worked on with CS and it’s soooooo cute. Happy 20th birthday wonderful Character Shop 💛 Emma @ballantine_emma#20years#countdown#favourites
The project I’ve most enjoyed working on with Character Shop was the ITG Fisher Price project. There was a series of videos covering different age groups, each requiring a different art style which was a fun challenge. Dan Tarrant

I absolutely loved working on the Star Searching animations for Away Resort's PlayTots. Being able to design characters and bring them to life was a dream come true for me. The lion and bear will always hold a special place in my heart! Gale

The BAA 2002 opening sequence was a real team effort; we all put our blood, sweat & tears into it. It was full of all of the team's ideas, and that's what makes it my favourite CharacterShop project. Ed
