'This bill is not about people choosing to die. They are dying. This bill is about helping them make those final days easier for those who so choose.

Good to have a presentation at @CharityLawAssoc by @Saffa_Mir of Pennington Manches Cooper and trustee of @muslimcharities specifically on faith charities. Quite a lot of charity people seem uncomfortable about faith-based charities so glad the CLA is giving a clear focus.

This is the benefit of assisted dying - the option being there gives people peace of mind and allows them to make the most of the time they have left.
