Out in suburbia for dinner time and I tried @jerseymikes again.
I'm amazed no one from New Jersey has put a hit out on them. It just tastes like airport food. These are some of the blandest cold cuts and vegetables I have experienced since I stopped going to Subway.
That painful in-between place where you are mechanically talented enough to fix a chiller system but not professionally competent at it so it takes forever
I've been putting this off because I wasn't drinking beer but it's summertime. I'm going back to beer
Interesting masonry in this hundred-year-old townhouse. I have no clue why they alternated blocks and bricks because it's all brick on the outside and this was invisible on the inside before we tore the walls out
I just went to see my accountant (nobody tells you the amount of tax fun you're going to get when you go into real estate). His nice suburban office building is just echoing and empty. Still leased but no one's in the building. This is not a good sign.
Today I took a journey to the basement to the island of misfit cords. One day when this particular USB termination comes back into style, I will be ready
Of course I still haven't found the regular old USB cord I was looking for
Went to my college reunion, which was awesome despite the usual New England weather. But the to do list on the return is always more than a bit painful
I just got a FedEx package from Exxon asking me to vote my shares. I don't even have that many shares. This is insane.
Or Exxon Investor Relations has been following @realEstateTrent
X is amazing, because in the same thread you can have some really intelligent people, and then accidentally find yourself interacting with some of the worlds biggest idiots.
Good news is I passed my mechanicals somewhere else. Bad news is it reminded me I forgot to plan out where my mini-splits are going on this one and it is now a rush job
Claude is getting good enough that it's genuinely making me hope somebody is taking Skynet into account.
The Terminator movies should be mandatory watching for everyone in AI.
Capitol One lounge for the first time. Pretty nice. I think @United actually treats first-class domestic in Dulles worse than anywhere else I've ever been, which is really saying something. The luggage check-in process is ridiculously bad.
