If you want to soften the social media slop, this is an account of some Germans road tripping the US for the World cup. The theme is how different it is vs. their expectations.
This resonates with my after living in my car and road tripping around the country twice, for a total of 7 months.
The take aways:
-99% of everyone is generous, kind and helpful.
-The US is incredibly diverse and beautiful with natural landscapes that blow your mind.
-We have an incredible National park/forest system with great road systems to access them.
