🚨 Suppressing the Voice of Democracy: Misuse of Law Against a Hindu Activist?
In a democratic system, every Indian citizen has the constitutional right to travel anywhere within the country and raise their voice. However, looking at recent events, it raises a serious concern:
is the government systematically misusing the law to suppress those who stand up for their community and speak against government policies?
The Raichur District Administration has issued an order banning Sri Puneeth Kerehalli, Chief of the Rashtra Rakshana Pade, from entering the Raichur district,
He was scheduled to participate in the 'Hindu Samrajyotsava' program organized at Hatti Gold Mines town.
Our Questions to the System:
Why is the government repeatedly targeting a Hindu activist who is merely visiting to address a public gathering, while failing to take stringent action against actual elements disrupting peace?
Violation of Freedom of Speech:
How justifiable is it to snatch away the right to speak for one's community or criticize government policies in a democracy? Is this not a blatant tactic to silence an opposing voice?
Prejudiced Approach:
Banning entry into an entire district based purely on assumptions and hidden reports, even before any untoward incident has occurred, is a textbook example of the misuse of administrative power.
We strongly condemn this targeted harassment and the suppression of democratic voices under the guise of legal orders. The establishment must remember—when you try to suppress a voice in a democracy, it only echoes back louder!
